We now offer 50% of the UK’s Colortec manufacturing capacity and one of the latest production machines in Europe. We consider this to be an extremely important stage in our on-going development programme further strengthening our position as a specialist supplier to the Hotel & Leisure industry.

Colortec is the ultimate in patterned tufting technology. Almost endless design capabilities, the use of up to 6 colours and minimum requirements of 250m2 are all factors which make Colortec a cost effective alternative to traditional woven products. Understanding each project varies in its design requirements Colortec is able to accommodate this by offering great flexibility with both design style and colour. Whether it be a bordered feature around beds in guestrooms to simple textured designs a style can be created to suit any project.

For many years the use of design and colour has been available through different types of carpet, predominantly wovens such as Axminster. The benefit Colortec provides is almost identical design and colour opportunities at prices more associated with tufted carpets. For example Colortec can provide average savings of around 35%-40% against a woven product of the same design.

Colortec can provide a cost effective and practical solution to areas where budgets do not currently allow for woven style patterned carpets. Likewise it can also offer great savings in other areas where the capabilities of the machine can be utilised. All in all Colortec has the ability to either enhance an installation or reduce costs. As a family owned and operated company quality and service are two key areas important to the success and continuity of our business. Colortec uses the same 80% Pure New Wool / 20% Nylon ‘dyed’ pile yarns as our woven Axminster products and is available in standard widths of 4.00 metres. Options in 2.00 metre wide and carpet tiles are also available dependant upon design. Lead times are generally 6-8 weeks from receipt of order.
