Hotels: Embassy Suites Hotel Washington, D.C.

International Painters and Allied Trades Industry Pension Fund, of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades and Hilton Hotels Corporation announced the opening of the new 384-suite Embassy Suites Hotel® Washington, D.C./Convention Centre in downtown D.C. The 384-suite hotel is owned by IUPAT.

In addition to two-room suites, the hotel also offers high-speed Internet access; two dual-line phones with Dataport modems; a wet bar, refrigerator, microwave and in-room safes large enough to hold laptop computers; and an iron and ironing board. Additional amenities at the hotel include an indoor pool, whirlpool, executive business centre and fitness centre.

The hotel offers a complimentary full cooked-to-order breakfast each morning and a two-hour Manager's Reception* each evening featuring complimentary beverages and light snacks. The hotel features 6,500 square feet of meeting space and a new restaurant, called Finn & Porter, just steps away from the new Washington Convention Centre.
