Maia features a stunning range of oriental style floral prints and embroideries on cottons, linens and silks. Inspired by documents within the Sanderson Archive and by Chinese and Japanese flower studies, their stylised feel is enhanced by the use of varying textured grounds and vivacious colour palettes.

Charleston is a dynamic group of original graphic weaves that come in a variety of modern designs and fashion driven colourways. Delphi & Athene are two floral inspired weaves that capture a nostalgic feel with the use of bold retro patterns.

Maia Prints & Silks

Inspired by documents within the Sanderson Archive and by oriental art forms, the five printed designs include magnificent peony bunches, stylised cherry blossoms and elegant fans. All these prints are exceptionally detailed and beautifully capture the essence of the flower they depict, be it with fine brush detail or with delicate hand drawing. Available on a mix of cotton and linen grounds, some work perfectly as statement pieces while others create beautiful natural backdrops to an informal interior.

The three opulent silk designs feature intricate prints and embroidery. The printed stems of the Buddlea design use metallics over dazzling colours, including striking combinations of pear and cerise or chocolate and orange. The embroideries are on muted shades of duck egg, lavender, cream and gold and use vibrant silky threads to create delicate, feminine designs. Perfect for curtains and soft furnishings, Tinta and Maia Embroidery, Buddlea Printed Silk and Global Silk plains all provide an injection of luxury into any bedroom or living room.

Charleston Weaves

A collection of four small scale, contemporary weaves suitable for curtains, upholstery and accessories. Geometric and botanical motifs have been woven in a mix of cottons and satins available in a wide variety of sophisticated colourways, from chocolate and turquoise to black and cerise.

Delphi & Athene

Two designs, Athene, a flamboyant poppy and Delphi, a leaf trail, were originally produced by Sanderson as prints in the 1970's and have a retro feel reminiscent of that era. They have been woven in cotton and viscose onto a beautiful, satin quality with a soft handle, suitable for both curtains and occasional upholstery. Available in new colour combinations of chocolate / turquoise, black / orange and cerise / chocolate.
