Case Study 1:
For discreet TV viewing, a slimline unit had to be made to fit within the existing furniture designs of this bedroom, containing fielded panels and decorative mouldings and completed with a hand painted finish.
A unit was designed that would fit at the end of the bed, and a 26/32" lift was installed. The unit was secured to the floor, and all wiring was managed within the unit.
Case Study 2:
This bespoke cabinet piece was designed and created with storage space for up to four electronic units, with two cupboards and pull out draws for other types of storage, including DVD's, CDs, and remote control units. A 32" LCD display, DVD, and VCR, were to be integrated within the viewing unit.
Maple was used throughout, with a two-pack laquer applied to create a long lasting, high quality finish. Aluminium handles were used.
The plasma screen was mounted onto the backboard using the manufacturers mounting bracket,
and the cables connecting the units to the LCD display hidden within the back frame. Ventilation points within and at the back of the furniture enable adequate cooling for the units, whilst being hidden from view.
