Marking the First of Four Hilton Hotels to Open In Spain This Year
Hilton Valencia has recently opened its doors, adding another world-class facility to the city of Valencia and capping the decade-long, multi-billion dollar civic investment that is redefining Valencia as Europe's meetings, cruise and cultural "destination of the moment". The transformation of the city has been timed to coincide with the 32nd America's Cup Yacht Race, which finishes in July this year.

Hilton Valencia is the third Hilton hotel in Spain and the first of four Hilton openings this year. The three other pipeline hotels include Hilton Buenavista Toledo, Hilton Madrid Airport, and Hilton Sa Torre Mallorca which open in June, November and December respectively.
About the hotel
The 29-storey Hilton Valencia dominates one of the newest business precincts in Valencia and has an impressive exterior that is visible from both the port and the city centre, six kilometres away. Located opposite the Norman Foster designed Palacio de Congresos (Congress Hall), the 304-room property was developed using innovative materials such as tensed glass and alucubond. The hotel comprises two buildings on one side of the main thoroughfare into the city centre: a 29-storey tower, the highest in Valencia, and a 14-storey tower. The hotel forms half of a project that will eventually become the symbolic gateway to the city.
Guest Rooms
The 304 guest rooms are furnished in warm Mediterranean tones accented by original works of art sourced from local artists. All rooms come equipped with high-speed wireless internet access and have a four-point marble bathroom.
Executive Rooms are located on floor 22 through to floor 29 and offer access to the Executive Floor lounge with complimentary daily breakfast and evening beverages and snacks and private check in/check out. Two large balconies extending from the lounge provide a breezy spot to enjoy the sultry Spanish weather and the 180-degree views of the surrounding countryside. Meanwhile, floor 28 and 29 are home to two presidential suites offering breathtaking views of the city.
The hotel features ten Relaxation Rooms, an award winning new concept in rooms that offer three distinct zones: the bath, the work and the leisure zone. These rooms are especially spacious, with wooden floors in the bedrooms, an ergonomically designed workspace, and a jacuzzi and second television in the bathroom.
Facilities
Hilton Valencia has been purposely designed for the meetings sector with 18 meetings and function rooms (most offering natural sunlight), a ballroom with a capacity for 800 delegates, a full-service business centre, a modern spa, and a fitness centre with an indoor pool. The hotel also has 280 parking spaces.
Meanwhile, the hotel is home to two restaurants; the internationally renowned BICE, a 186-seat venue serving contemporary Italian cuisine with the warmth and informality of a traditional Milanese trattoria, and the 170 seat ground floor Azahar (meaning Orange Blossom) offering international favourites alongside the three Hilton classics including Caesar Salad, Club Sandwich and Hilton Burger. Meanwhile, the lobby level Podium Bar features a floating timber floor and specializes in Malt whiskies, coffee and innovative cocktails.
