The new Movenpick Hotel is a 41 storey building which has been designed by Group Design Partnership (GDP) and will include 406 rooms> The hotel will featuring royal suites, executive suites, junior suites, standard rooms and together with a separate serviced apartment building with one and two bedroom apartments and studios. The hotel will have tennis courts, luxury spa, fully equipped kids club and playground, a state of the art gym plus five superb high quality restaurants including a roof bar and a beach restaurant. The ballroom will be adaptable to suit all functions and social occasions.

Marina Square is an iconic project situated on Al Reem Island. It is a mixed use development project that consists of residential and commercial components including the new Movenpick Hotel. Offices and residences in Marina Square will be equipped with high tech, smart home technology. Development will be completed by December 2009 while the ground breaking ceremony of the hotel is expected to take place during the second week of June.
