Unique Luxury Hotel in Spanish Pyrenees

The Hospes Villa Paulita is located in the Catalan town of Puigcerdà, a strong ski, adventure sports, relax, and culture destination, only 150 km away from Barcelona or Toulouse.

The new property, similar to the other hotels of the group, shows a clear trend for the combination of culture, well-being, art, history, cuisine and relaxation. The Hospes Villa Paulita is a remarkable Art Nouveau family mansion that combines a fantastic location with a wide array of facilities: facing the Puigcerda lake and framed by the wonderful Catalan Pyrenees. It has 38 spacious rooms, spacious garden areas, and two meeting rooms for up to 150 people. In its gourmet restaurant, ”L’Estany” guests may enjoy the best Senzone cuisine, based on local produce and recipes; while in the Bodyna Spa, guests can be taken away by a wave of sensations with the most complete services based on natural products and therapies.

Puigcerdà is the capital of La Cerdanya region, in the northern part of Catalunya, protected by the Pyrenees Mountains. It is located an altitude of 1,1 km, 1 km. from the border with France and 40 km. from Andorra. The main cities of Barcelona and Toulouse lie only about 150km away to the south and to the north, respectively. Puigcerdà is an enchanting place to visit at any time of the year. The visitor may enjoy a wide range of cultural and sports activities, such as ski, golf, trekking, biking, riding, ice skating, 4x4, etc. Also noteworthy is discovering the Gothic, Modernist and Romanesque churches and villas of the area.

With the opening of this hotel, Hospes Hotels & Moments is consolidating the ongoing expansion process both in Spain and abroad, a process confirmed by seven properties in operation, apart from the recently opened Hospes Villa Paulita: Hospes Amérigo, in Alicante; Hospes Palacio de los Patos, in Granada; Hospes Maricel, in Mallorca; Hospes las Casas del Rey de Baeza, in Seville; Hospes Palau de la Mar, in Valencia; Hospes Palacio del Bailío, in Cordoba; and Hospes Lancaster, in Paris.

Another hotel is scheduled to open in 2007, the Hospes Madrid. This will be followed in 2008 and 2009 with new hotels in Malaga, Pamplona, Jerez de la Frontera, and Murcia. Hospes plans to reach a portfolio of 30 properties in Europe over the next ten years.
