Hotel Opening: Microtel Opens in Hazelton, WV

Jenkins Holdings LLC, owned by Mike and Pam Jenkins of Albright, West Virginia, has opened a new Microtel Inn & Suites hotel in Hazelton, WV. The three-story, 59-room hotel is located in the scenic Allegheny Mountain region in North Point Plaza at 400 Casteel Road, off Interstate 68 and Exit 29. There are currently six Microtel Inns & Suites hotels open in the State of West Virginia and several more in development.

“This area has a real need for a quality economy hotel, and we are excited to bring a new chain hotel with top-notch amenities, online reservations and toll-free services to our county,” said Mke Jenkins, president of Jenkins Holdings LLC and Aquafix Systems, Inc.

The new Microtel Inn & Suites hotel offers single, double and suite accommodations. Amenities include free local and free long distance phone calls anywhere within the continental U.S.; free high speed wireless Internet access in all guestrooms; phones with data-ports and voice-mail; expanded cable television with CNN, HBO and ESPN; daily complimentary continental breakfast, and onsite guest laundry. The new hotel also offers the stylish Microtel bedding known as “Dream Well,” which includes a plush pillow-top mattress and fitted bed skirt, high quality 200-thread count white and khaki-piped linens with triple sheeting, down-like blanket, decorative top sheet, bed scarf and pillows.
