“Though John Stefanidis has designed hotel suites in the past, we wanted to give him the opportunity to style an entire hotel. The result is quite stunning and very different from any other of our properties but in keeping with our philosophy it reflects its location. The hotel features many of John Stefanidis’ unique and colourful fabric designs both in the suites and the public areas. The challenge has been to manufacture these designs (both print and woven) to meet the very stringent FR regulations in Switzerland whilst at the same time, maintaining the vibrant colours, elegance and quality of designs.

Working with several companies, the fabrics were trialled on different FR base cloths and in different yarns to achieve the look of cotton and silk without losing the details of the intricate patterns. They have been a huge success. Used for curtains, bedspreads and upholstery throughout the hotel, these are an important element in creating the John Stefanidis signature and you will find nothing else like them on the market.
