Taken by Terry Meades (a HotelDesigns reader and voice over artist), these images indicate that the hotel has still to complete work on the entrance landscape, which will hopefully be finished by January.

We will bring you more news on this hotel as it develops (quite literally).

The Ibis Borehamwood is located just minutes away from Borehamwood town centre and train station, next to the millennium studios and the BBC Elstree centre. It features 122 bedrooms, a restaurant with 24 hours snacks and business corner with WIFI internet access. With excellent transport links, only 30 minutes drive from London and 20 minutes from Wembley stadium via the A1. Only 15 minute journey by train from kings cross station and it is accessible in 30 minutes from Luton airport via the M1 and M25.

Ibis is an international hotel company, owned by Accor hotels. It has 767 hotels worldwide, with over 370 in France and most of the remainder elsewhere in Europe. The hotels are generally close to city centres, airports or rail stations, offering budget rates.
