Between early 2008 and late 2009, Global Hyatt will open three hotels in imposing structures currently being erected in Beijing, Shanghai and Moscow. Since the opening of the Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Mori’s Roppongi Hills or of the Grand Hyatt Shanghai in the striking Jin Mao Tower, the Hyatt name is becoming increasingly synonymous with ambitious hotel architecture and design. Hyatt continues to further establish its reputation as a preferred partner for the residential components in these futuristic urban oases emerging throughout the boom regions of Asia and Russia.
Park Hyatt Shanghai
Hyatt’s own architectural legacy, which had its beginnings in 1967 when the Hyatt Regency Atlanta introduced the first atrium style hotel lobby, will soon come full circle when the same architect, John Portman, proudly presents his most recent accomplishment with the new Park Hyatt in the Beijing Yintai Centre.
Park Hyatt Beijing:
Soaring above the heart of Beijing's Central Business District, Park Hyatt Beijing will be part of the prestigious Beijing Yintai Centre, the tallest skyscraper on Chang'an Avenue and a symbol of the new China. The first Park Hyatt in Greater China, Park Hyatt Beijing will combine gracious service with contemporary accommodation to create a warm, welcoming personal residence and bring true luxury to the capital. In addition to the many thoughtfully designed hotel services and facilities, guests will also be able to experience a wide range of unique shopping, dining and entertainment options in Park Life, a dynamic lifestyle destination located within the complex.
The hotel is scheduled to open in 2008, in time for the highly anticipated 2008 Olympic Games.
