Country Linens

The linens collection comprises eight classic designs, ranging from elegantly pretty to boldly flamboyant in style. The stylised leaves and flowers of ‘Amanpuri’, a typical 1920’s interpretation of a Jacobean embroidery, look entirely contemporary in the original colourings of khaki green, red and gold. A captivating design, ‘Beaufort’ is taken from Elizabethan embroideries and is a naïve depiction of animals and insects in a forest landscape.

Two majestic designs; ‘Pavia’ and ‘Abingdon’ feature dramatic horse-chestnut leaves and azalea blossoms respectively, using clever colour combinations to reproduce an original, antique feel. ‘Charlbury’ is a design full of joie de vivre, with lively poppies redrawn from a 19th century document whilst ‘Roseanna’ is pure English elegance; country house roses simply arranged against a diamond patterned background. ‘Elouise’ echoes the same classic elegance, depicting various English country flowers in the typical chintz style. Completing the collection, ‘Cornucopia’ features an elaborate scrolling pattern of leaves and flowers and the ‘horn of plenty’ motif from a 19th century archive print.

Velluti

Luxurious and durable, the sumptuous Velluti collection features three bold and contemporary designs woven in Italy and coloured in a rich palette with combinations ranging from vivid autumnal hues of plums and golds to neutral blends of ebony, slate and cream.

‘Velluti Stripe’, a multi-coloured stripe, has been designed to softly blend with sophisticated interiors and comes in beautifully graduated colour combinations.

‘Chinese Lanterns’, a bold large scale design depicting Chinese lantern fruits, is woven in two colours on a natural linen ground. ‘Toscana’ is a small-scale, geometric design which, with its art deco inspired motifs, perfectly complements the other two designs within the collection.
