New Deluxe Hotel in China: The Swissôtel Grand, Shanghai

Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts has opened its third hotel in the Peoples Republic of China on the 11th of April 2008: the Swissôtel Grand, Shanghai. Following in the wake of the two existing hotels in Beijing and Kunshan, the new 5-star deluxe hotel will extend the portfolio of the international hotel chain with Swiss heritage in China. In only a few weeks a further hotel is set to open in the city of Foshan (Guangdong).

Enjoying an outstanding location in the city’s Jing'An quarter, the new hotel is only a few minutes walking distance away from Nanjing West Road with its many elegant shops, and in particular the shopping centres Plaza 66 and Citic Square. Attractive city sights, such as the Jing'An temple, the Shanghai Grand Theatre or the Shanghai Museum lie within easy reach.
