The 380-bedroom hotel, owned by Far East Organization Hotels, has completed a $45m renovation to transform the property into a minimalist, modern hotel providing an alternative location away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre for both business and leisure travellers.

Le Méridien Changi Village is conveniently located for Changi International Airport (12km), the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (10km) and Singapore Expo, one of the premier exhibition venues in Asia. A free transfer service is provided to the airport, Singapore Expo and downtown Singapore (25km).

The hotel has two floors dedicated to business guests with their own breakfast and business lounge and a personal secretarial service. The tranquil contemporary designed guestrooms feature private voicemail and IDD, wireless broadband connectivity, in–room safe, air-conditioning and complimentary tea & coffee.

Meeting organisers have a choice of 13 meeting rooms and a 300-seater ballroom, which open to views of the lush landscaped grounds and a business centre.

There is a fine dining rooftop restaurant with sea views, a café and lobby lounge offering a range of local and international cuisines.

For relaxation there is a rooftop recreation area offering spa treatments, Jacuzzi and swimming pool with views across the eastern shore. There is also a fully equipped gym for guests to workout. The nearby beach offers adventure sports enthusiasts kayaking and jet skiing.

Le Méridien Changi Village brings the total number of Le Méridien hotels in the Asia Pacific region to 30 with new openings in the pipeline for 2004 and beyond.
