Hilton Hotels announced the opening of Hilton Beijing Wangfujing which is owned by Beijing Macau Development Company LTD, and managed by Hilton. The hotel has 255 guest rooms, including 58 suites and is a unique addition to the Hilton portfolio in China.
Located in the heart of Wangfujing, Beijing’s prominent commercial and social district, the hotel is designed to be a chic, intimate, lifestyle sanctuary designed by Singapore-based architectural firm Wilson & Associates.
Hilton Beijing Wangfujing’s chic interiors were inspired by the classical Rococo-style era and the traditional architecture of the nearby Forbidden City. The lobby and reception areas incorporate cozy fireplaces that provide a warm and inviting backdrop to the hotel.
Distinctive friezes and a colorful collection of objets d’art featuring the works of acclaimed Beijing artists grace the hotel walls, while contemporary-styled furnishings in dark leathers are softened by lavish being and bronze suede fabrics with dramatic accents of cream and white.
The artistic touches are also reflected in the hotel’s dining experience with four dramatically styled restaurants and lounges. Each restaurant concept delivers distinctive cuisine accentuating exceptional flavours, unique produce and varied menus, reflective of the hotel’s desire to bring a new level of experience to the Beijing dining scene.
The restaurants include Vasco’s, one of few Macanese restaurants in Beijing. Vasco’s has a resident water sommelier who will advise clients on clarity, taste and brightness and on pairing water with certain dishes.
Another of the restaurants is Chynna, offering regional Chinese classics combined with modern cooking techniques. Chynna has a Tea Master, responsible for introducing diners to the history and natural remedial wonders of tea. lso on hand will be an appointed nutritionist, who offers advice on menu options that meet guests’ lifestyle needs.
