The new 198 bedroom four star hotel, owned by O’Donoghue/Ring hotels in Kerry, Ireland has been redeveloped at a cost of £30 million. The hotel was demolished and splendidly redeveloped, making a centre for relaxation and those wishing to drive the famous 'Ring of Kerry' on the Dingle peninsula.

As a part of the hotel development, designers the Syntax Group developed a £2 million spa facility.

The judges commented “The designer’s solution for the Molton Brown Spa is outstanding. It is a contemporary slightly quirky, yet absolutely comfortable response to the challenge of spa design”
