A & J Interiors aim for higher than satisfactory performance

A&J the specialist hospitality interior fit-out contractor have committed to the Considerate Constructors Scheme.

The scheme is an industry wide Code of Considerate Practice helping to improve performance and minimise the impact of A&J activities with those who come in to contact with its sites.

Its sites will be independently assessed to ensure it can be considered good neighbours, as well as clean, respectful, safe, environmentally conscious, responsible and accountable.

A&J will then be able to benchmark our performance with the industry to ensure it is always at the leading edge.

A&J, managing director, Gary Crosbie said a passionate champion of the construction industry states: “Our industry and activities have a huge impact on all our lives, when working in sensitive locations such as a hotel, it is equally important to consider the needs of our clients business, guests and neighbours as it is to make sure the mitres, carpets and decoration are up to our usual fanatical approach to quality.”

Started in 1997 the Considerate Constructor’s scheme was set up by the UK construction industry to improve its image. Since then over 36000 sites have been registered and monitored and has been instrumental in many of the improvements enjoyed today.
