Directory company PFD Flooring Limited was tasked with installing all the carpets in the 391 guestrooms for both hotels and also installing carpet in the corridors of the Splash Landings Hotel. Working closely with the Tussauds Design Studio and their chosen carpet manufacturer PFD Flooring were able to ensure that the 12,250 square metres of the specially designed carpet was planned and manufactured to leave the least amount of wastage. Linked to both hotels is a Conference Centre, which encompasses a large conference room that can be divided into three smaller rooms, six syndicate rooms and attendant bar areas. The centrepiece of the main bar is a carpet incorporating Sir Algernon Aloysius Alton’s flying machine within the design.

On seeing the capabilities of PFD Flooring the main contractor, Shepherd Construction, requested that they provided and installed all the vinyl and timber flooring for the Conference Centre and Public Areas in the Splash Landings Hotel.
