Walker Greenbank appoints Group Contracts Director

Walker Greenbank PLC has appointed a Group Contracts Director to take responsibility for the company’s fabric and wallcovering brands, Zoffany, Harlequin, Harris and Sanderson.

Carolyn Mitchell, currently Managing Director of Creation Baumann, will take up the position on 7th March. She will report directly to David Smallridge, Brand Managing Director, and will be based at Denham. Working at a senior level with all of the Walker Greenbank brands, and also with the Group’s manufacturing businesses, her brief will be to identify and promote contract sales opportunities both within the UK and internationally.

Carolyn brings a wealth of experience to her new role. For the past three years she has been Managing Director of Creation Baumann, and previous to that spent ten years in charge of contracts at Monkwell Fabrics. As current Vice-Chairman of the BCFA, she will assume the position of Chairman in the coming year. Carolyn enjoys a thorough understanding of the contract industry and extensive knowledge of working with top hotels, architectural practices, pubs and clubs and the cruise and ferry market throughout the world.
