A good example of this can be seen at The Grove Hotel in Watford where Dernier & Hamlyn working with Martin Hulbert of designers Mary Fox Linton Associates, used the traditional skills of the Derniers craftsmen on the contemporary design and production of amongst others the magnificently named “Hot Sexy Classic bed”. Using various materials with a polished steel frame combined with acrylic rods the finished effect is to complete a stunning bedroom with an amazing bed.

Also manufactured for the Grove Hotel were the Ceramic Shade pendants, further beds, and tables along with the restoration and refurbishment of numerous light fittings, chandeliers, and table lamps around the Hotel.
