As with the corridors the bedroom colouring is carefully controlled with the result that the effect is warm and welcoming whilst remainng light and cheerfully contemporary, helped by careful details such as the 'button down' cushions.

Layout is the standard with the desk coming out into the room and a separate dining table provided. Wardrobe space is generous as is drawer space, timber colour has been carefully balanced against fabric colour presenting a harmonious whole across the room.

The only jarring note is struck by the bathroom where the tile selection is slightly domestic and creates a very busy 'chintzy' feel to the space. The design of the room for those less mobile is poorly detailed with, for example a standard wardrobe, but its bathroom is stronger in part through the use of a simple white tile which is more effective visually than the patterned tile used in the standard bathroom.

The hotel enjoys some of the best views in Innsbruck with a superb location in the centre of town. The money spent on the remodelling so far with the change in the franchise has been well targeted and the results represent a good value for money piece of design.

This is not a design icon, simply a good hotel typifying good commercial hotels throughout the world. The design is effective and its execution well carried out, and complimented by an excellent operational team raises the hotel above the ordinary and does credit to Hilton.
